Manzoni
Metodo Classico Brut
750 ml. – 1,5 lt.
The Manzoni Bianco grape, a combination of Renan Riesling and Pinot Bianco, realized in the early ‘900 by the eminent agronomist Luigi Manzoni, produces a unique, aromatic and elegant wine. The low productivity and the small bunches give concentration and body. For this reasons the Guicciardini have chosen Manzoni Bianco for their sparkling wine. Realized following the Champenois Method (Classic Method) after aging on the yeasts for 24 months
Harvest: Middle August
Wine Making Process: grapes hand-picked in 20 kg boxes, pressing of intact grapes
Fermentation process: is stainless steal and in barriques with malolactic fermentation
Aging: on the dregs from 8/10 months before the “tirage”. 24 aging on the yeasts
Alcohol: 12% – 12.5%
Tasting Notes: complex nose, delicate floreal nots, distinct mineral taste, great body, fine and persistant perlage. Remarkable structure, citrus-like notes and liquirice notes. Very elegant in the mouth, perfect as aperitif or accompanying the meal.
